The Sweetwater Chair
The sweetwater chair was designed for breweries, lakesides, beaches, firepits, and anywhere else you would like to sit and hang out with your friends. This Adirondack-styled outdoor chair is designed with comfort in mind along with a focus on accessibility for all users while fostering conversation between family and friends.

Traditional Issues
Traditional Adirondack chairs are deep and low. While this may be relaxing for a short time, it proves tiresome and uncomfortable over time. The extra 15 degrees have a tendency to make your head want to fall back to use the headrest which can make conversating difficult. In addition to this because the chair is so deep and low to the ground it can be a difficult challenge to exit for elderly and disabled users.

This model helped me refine the manufacturing process of the sweetwater chair through the exploration of the structure while maintaining the tubing design aesthetics.

Final Porducts

The Sweetwater chair resembles a traditional Adirondack chair however it has been raised to allow users to get their feet under themselves to exit more easily.
In addition, it has been tilted forward to eliminate strain on the user's neck as well as to maintain a comfortable posture that fosters conversation.

The Sweetwater chair has unique customization capabilities, boasting any brand after a quick laser etching.
